  • Definition of Commissioning for new and existing buildings
    • Commissioning of buildings is the systematic process of ensuring that the complex array of equipment that provides heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and other amenities in buildings is designed, installed, tested to perform interactively and determined capable of being operated and maintained according to the design intent and the building owner's operational needs.

  • Pre-qualified Retro-Commissioning Authority List


  • The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) issued a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) to develop a list of pre-qualified individuals and firms to conduct Retro-Commissioning projects for K-12 public schools, community hospitals, community colleges, universities, state buildings, and federal buildings in Montana under the State Energy Program. This list of individuals or engineering firms have successfully submitted qualifications through the RFQ process to conduct Retro-Commissioning projects.
