At this location, the following WEBCAST will be provided for individuals or organizations involved with promoting and developing renewable energy and energy efficiency. Updates on other Montana energy programs will be provided also.
Please mark your calendars for Monday, Oct 18, 2005, 9:00 am Mountain Standard Time to attend a Farm Bill Section 9006 WEBCAST, hosted by Montana Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Department of Energy Wind Power America, and the National renewable energy Lab Wind Programs. There are major changes underway for the Farm Bill Section 9006 for FY06. One of the major changes is that applicants will be able to apply as early as December, so our window of opportunity to learn the latest and begin planning outreach efforts is upon us. Terri Walters & Charles Newcomb from the NREL will be presenting.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture 2002 Farm Bill, Section 9006, provides financial assistance to farmers, ranchers, and rural small businesses to purchase renewable energy systems or make energy efficiency improvements.
