Alternative Energy Development Grant Up to $1 million will be administered by the SEP to eligible applicants. A competitive Request for Applications (RFA) process has been designed. The emphasis is on projects that further the commercialization of renewable energy technologies, including energy storage systems that support renewable energy generation. Recycling Infrastructure Grants The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is administering the 2009 Recycling Infrastructure Grant program.
A total of $312,000 in funding is available to assist with recycling programs in Montana. The maximum amount of funding that could be requested was $25,000. Completed applications were due December 15, 2009 and successful applicants have been announced.
