EcoLogo Environmental Choice Program
EcoLogo was launched by the Canadian government in 1988 and is North America’s most
widely recognized and respected certification of environmental leadership.
Responsible Purchasing Network (RPN)
RPN is an international network of procurement stakeholders dedicated to socially responsible and environmentally
sustainable purchasing.
The Department of Administration is a member of RPN and encourages all agencies to take advantage of the educational webinars and purchasing guides available through this website. Agencies may choose to join RPN on their own, or contact Gretchen Bingman, DOA or Sandra Boggs, DEQ to learn how to access members-only parts of the website.
Product Stewardship Institute (PSI)
PSI is a membership-based organization that encourages product design changes to reduce the health and
environmental impacts of consumer products.
The Department of Environmental Quality has joined PSI and participates in national discussions with manufacturers, retailers, federal agencies and environmental groups working to work towards solutions regarding federal electronics stewardship legislation, reducing use of mercury and other harsh chemicals in products, and much more.

Office of the Federal Environmental Executive (OFEE)
OFEE promotes sustainable environmental stewardship throughout the federal government.
SCS Eco-Products
Currently certified products include office furniture systems, components, and seating,
building materials, carpet and rug, hard surface flooring, paints, finishes, wood
products, and cleaning products, among others.
Responsible Product Listserve (EPPnet)
The Northeast Recycling Council, Inc. (NERC) operates this listserve to share information
amongst procurement specialists on environmentally preferable products.
