Schools
Many resources exist for teachers wishing to discuss and encourage recycling. Every year the Recycle Montana Association distributes a Fun Book to elementary students across Montana that describes current recycling issues. Headwaters Recycling Cooperative supports the Woodsy-the-Owl recycling education program that sends a speaker into classrooms to interact directly with children and encourage recycling. Staples Recycle for Education program is a fundraising program for schools. Staples donates $3 for every eligible ink or laser toner cartridge collected by participating schools.
Wal-Mart Kids Recycling Challenge
The Wal-Mart Kids Recycling Challenge is a fun and educational
program that teaches elementary school students in the Western U.S. and Arkansas about the
importance of recycling while earning money for their schools!
