New Energy Code Website
A new website has been developed specifically to address Montana's Energy Code, its proposed implementation, and specifics on how to meet the code, which is effective as of November 7, 2014. Certain provisions of the Energy Code, such as mandatory blower door testing, go into effect in November, 2015. Go to Energy Code Dot Com for details.
S.M.A.R.T. Schools Website
Governor Steve Bullock and Lt. Governor Angela McLean have recently unveiled the Montana S.M.A.R.T. Schools website and challenge programs for the 2015-2016 school year. The site promotes energy efficiency, conservation, and waste reduction in schools. The site features three Challenges for competition among schools: Energy Savings; Green Practices; and Recycling. Prizes, grants, and resources are available to schools that choose to participate.
