Montana Tier 1 Risk Based Correction Action Guidance for Petroleum Releases
This guidance describes Montana DEQ's Tier 1 Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) evaluation process. It provides a description of the concepts and terms that must be understood to use RBCA for petroleum releases in Montana, and is not intended to address other chemical (non-petroleum) releases. The September 2009 version of the guidance, as corrected by rule amendments published on June 24, 2010, has been adopted by DEQ’s Petroleum Tank Section in the tank regulations.
