Source Water Protection Query System The Source Water Protection Program (SWPP) Query System makes it easy to access source water assessment reports, plot a public water supply (PWS) on a map, or display information that exists in an area surrounding a PWS well. More than twenty data sets can be accessed through the SWPP Query System. The system was originally developed to help evaluate each PWS's susceptibility to potential contaminant sources. However, it is a useful tool for displaying information that can help answer a wide range of questions related to land and water resources. |

Keystone XL Pipeline Map TransCanada Keystone Pipeline, L.P. (Keystone) has submitted a Major Facility Siting Act (MFSA) application to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to construct and operate a 36-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline. As proposed, the pipeline would start at Hardisty, Alberta, and cross the U.S./Canada border near Morgan, Montana, and continue in a southeast direction through Montana and exit the state of Montana and continue on through South Dakota and terminate at Steele City, Nebraska. The map shows the Applicant's preferred route and two alternatives in Montana. |
