Treated Wastewater from Ground Water Remediation or Dewatering Permit
The general permit for “Treated Wastewater from Ground Water Remediation or Dewatering” is required to regulate discharge of wastewater generated through dewatering during remediation activities. This general permit will allow for the dewatering of contaminated ground water in a manner which will prevent further contamination and ensure adequate treatment prior to discharge. Wastewater may only be discharged in accordance with effluent limitations monitoring requirements and other conditions set forth in the permit. A written authorization letter is required before an applicant is authorized to discharge.
