Water Quality Planning Bureau Library
The Water Quality Planning Library was formed to support the mission and operations of the Montana DEQ's Planning, Prevention and Assistance Division, Water Quality Planning Bureau (WQPB). The total number of volumes in the collection numbers over 8,000 and consist of:
- monograph collection
- journal collection of back runs of ecological and environmental-related material
- unique material relating to Montana
- special format material including videos, slides, photographs
- maps
- CD-ROMS
- educational materials

Anyone can search our catalog. However, to check out materials, you must be an employee of Montana DEQ. If you are not an employee and need access to materials, contact your Water Quality Librarian.

Outside Databases
EBSCO statewide databases provided to Montana citizens and libraries by the Montana State Library, through an allocation from the Montana Legislature includes: Environment Complete (full text for more than 920 journals, including many of the most used journals in the discipline, such as Environment, Ecologist, Conservation Biology, etc.) and Academic Search™ Elite (full text for more than 2,100 academic journals)
The Montana Shared Catalog is a cooperative project involving over 100 public, school, academic, medical, and special libraries.
