GIS Health Advisory Network
The Health Advisory Network was created in 2008 as a way to help track public health concerns, relating to drinking water, across the state of Montana.
These maps, while updated frequently are not updated instantaneously; some systems may no longer pose a public health concern. For more information please contact the appropriate rule manager or your water system manager.

Public Notice
Public Water Supplies must comply with the Public Notice Rule and notify their customers whenever they violate federal or state regulations; this includes contaminant violations and monitoring and reporting violations.
EPA has developed the PNiWriter to help operators generate and distribute a public notice that meets all federal requirements. The PNiWriter is a great tool and we encourage operators to use it whenever public notice is required. (PNiWriter Flyer)
If you are a water user at any of the systems shown on any of our maps and you have not seen a public notice explaining the situation/violation in more detail please contact the Public Water Supply program at 406-444-4400 for more information.
